So will any inhabitants of this planet. If memory serves, we, as in the human race, have about ~1.5 billion years left on this rock before the Sun's ever intensifying luminosity becomes strong enough (about a 10% increase on what currently is) to render the surface nigh on inhospitable.

Hopefully by that time, assuming we haven't wiped ourselves out, we will have gone out and colonised the Galaxy.

I'm sure he will find some nutcase posting some flashing lights and claim it was a mothership doing a flyby.

I'll be working, and I'm fairly sure the DJ that night is playing motown and swing. This would not be my ideal choice to get down to, let alone go down to.
