Spotted this at PSU: http://www.psu.com/World-in-Conflict-+quot;virtually-identical+quot;-on-PS3360-News--a0003713-p0.php

The developer behind World In Conflict has said that they are “hell bent” on making the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of the Real Time Strategy title as near identical to each other as possible.

Speaking with Videogamer.com, Vice President of Development Petter Sydow said that although developing the PS3 version has been more “challenging” than the Xbox 360 iteration, the team have committed themselves so that "gamers of either platform are going to have virtually identical experiences".

Thanks Zefan :)

I can't wait to try a demo of this, I haven't really given previous console RTS games that much of a chance, but with this, SupCom and Halo wars on the horizon the futures looking pretty good.

Its a good game on the PC, so providing its not changed too much it should be good on console too, would be even better if it woudl support a mouse as it does get pretty fast paced at times.

Yeah but the graphics card on the 360.....

....joking :p

That's not funny, blatant flamebait NOW LEAVE IT.

On topic, WiC should translate to consoles pretty well, not that many decent rts's on the 360 either.

well both C&C3 and BFME2 got fairly good reviews, and with some very good announced games I think its a genre which we'll be seeing more and more of.

I liked the Battle for Middle Earth games, although I played them on PC and can't imagine they would play too well on consoles!!!

Jeeesh, grow a sense of humour - oh and no need to shout ;)

Me neither, they worked pretty hard on a new control system though. I played the demo and it was surprisingly good actually. If it hadn't been for my intense dislike of any of EA's LOTR games then I might of bought it.

Control yourself joebob.

C&C3 was crap so I don't have high hopes.

I didn't know supcom was console bound, can't see that working well without a mouse.

me neither, but they've been working on the controls for quite a while. I read a preview and it looked interesting. Of course I already have it on PC but its nice for people who only have a console.

Pikmin is the only "RTS" game that I have ever played on a console with intuitive controls but it's not a typical RTS.

Dude can you just leave it, really.

Why are you even replying? You're like a huge walking over reaction :p

I suggest you are the one who should just leave it - after all you were the one who has helped destroy a thread today already.

sp was disappointing but the mp side of it was great fun....you really need good teammates in this game to survive as usually the units attacking you are countered by units that belong to your teammates.
