so you have to enter your payment details into this 'trial' even though theyre not going to charge you? what a joke, im steering clear i think

Quite Common for most " trial " subscriptions.

I agree , the only reason I can see , is that they can take money after the trial period has ended , and deny receiving your instructions to cancel.

Nice Earner. :D

"oh my god, I'd rather play paint simulator 2006" - LOL ;)

Cheers,

be warned if you fill the form in with bogus cc details like many russians did and then pay with a gamecard blizzard can still ban your account for supplying false details. i remember a thread on it in the blizz forums some months ago, they were livid about it, their argument being some of them had no acces to visa etc so they filled in any old details never intending to use them.

Then you sir are an idiot. The cancelling process is completely automated and instant.

If that is the case , and I have no reason to doubt you , why are not my personnal details i.e Name , DOB , Address etc. sufficient for receiving a trial ?

Cheers,

Mark

P.S Last time I checked " I was not an Idiot " ! :(

Because of the way their accounts system is.

Theres no reason to think they're going to fleece you.

Yes, a company as big as Blizzard are really going to scam new customers, causing them to a) get sued, and b) lose a lot of their existing customer base who would no longer trust the company with their card details.
Think before you say things like that.

you can cancel as long as you can get onto the accounts page ;) or did they invest some money from 6million subscribers on auth servers/company that actually works sometimes.

Yeah just noticed that. Its capping my upload rate, as a result the download is very poor. anyone know how I could limit the upload?
