World of Warcraft Cataclysm Thread

Guys -

Can anyone find me the email address needed to contact Blizz regarding account reclamation? My old password isnt working and it says my email address isn't registered (lies, i have emails in this account from when I transferred characters). I cant get on the site from work.

Personally i would go make a trial account and send a ticket to the GM's with as much info on your account as you can remember. Not the passward, just account name, what realm, what char names are on it.

This should be enough for a decent GM to do the work needed to start you getting the account back.

The problems come if you cant remember the email or dont have access to it, then its CD KEY time and secret question time.

Other than that, should have it back within 24-48 hours of the ticket being sent.

Cheers guys. I managed to recover the account password after a lot of work and CD key confirmations. I signed in, created a level 1 and sent a ticket to a GM. He restored my 70 with all of my epic gear, both healing and damage sets within minutes :D

Woo! Wont be doing that again! ;)

I've never come across a bad GM tbh. They always ask "anything else i can help you with?" at the end of the ticket, and i usually say "hmmm... i wouldnt mind some twin blades of azzinoth" (although this got updated to the legendary caster mace) and they laugh or, like last night, say "hah! you wish! ;)".. but once he goes "anything else i can help you with?" and i replied "man, i wouldnt mind a hug" and he ported into our raid, hugged us all and turned us all into Giraffes and Zhevras... was hilarious :D
 
It's a brilliant move making the original 1-60 areas fresh again, as good as they are, once you levelled a few characters up it does feel like you've seen it all before. Not only that but there's a big difference in quality between the original zones and the new areas.
 
Couple of weeks ago a GM restored a character I deleted before TBC came out. That's pretty awesome. I guess they never actually delete anything.
