I quit this game a few months back, had a mage on Talnivarr. I kinda miss playing really :p good fun at times. I don't think ill be starting again any time soon though.
 
Went for either faction cause i really don't mind which one we go for. Always played as Alliance, so Horde could be a nice change :)

Also, is this for BC or is it just the original WoW? Cause i only have the original, but could upgrade if it gets going enough.
 
I would expect most people who already play WoW to have TBC installed :)

I'm not sure if you actually need it. You just can't do +60 things like others (eg Kara / Outland)

Yea thats what i thought. Its just if the majority goes for the Blood Elves/Draenei then it would be annoying that i couldn't go with them.
 
Gah my trial ends tomorrow and i cant join guilds using a trial account anyways... so i think, if this gets going enough, ill have to start with my missus in janurary
 
I've personally come back to the game after a long break, getting my priest to 70 which is cool. Nagrand is my fav zone so far.

But i would rather be playing with people that have a shared interest in guild. I would rather not have to reroll but if it meant playing with people who are all in the same boat, chatting on vent, and working together i would give it a go.

If its possible i'll port some of my players to the new server

There will be now that i'm trying more to organise it ;)

We might all have to be the same race if people want to start in the same area etc..
 
I have fairly recently rerolled another char on Al'Akir - PvP horde. Level 16 at the moment. It's a full server but it's also considered the best in Europe for PvP. It has some of the best PvP'ers in Europe including Rapidload and Inflame who have competed at Blizzcon EU and at the CGS last week.

Also I get a really nice latency there :p
 
Since PVP-Horde is already stretching out a lead, I had a look on the Realms page and found that there are currently two Recommended PVP realms, Karazhan and Shattered Halls.

Anyone have any experience on either?

Looking on warcraftrealms.com I see that Shattered Halls has the more balanced population and in my opinion would be a better starting point. Not sure what the economy is like - might roll a nub there and have a gander at the AH.

Looks like its pretty instant queuing for Arena but their Battlegroup seems to be busy with 10min+ wait times.

i got characters all over the place, would be nice to do some leveling with the ocuk guys, just need to pick a server!

Second. There are lots of votes but votes mean nothing.

You need to edit the first page with CONFIRMED peoples names who are willing to roll on a new server as Horde-PVP.

I bet you dont even get half the numbers from who voted. Just speaking the truth here. To get a more accurate figure do what I suggest imho.
