Wouldnt have went to silverstone as its too far to travel for the sake of a weekend, done it last year for the F1, but thats a 1 off. Going to try to get to Donnington I think.

Have ordered mine dont know if I can go but its a bit closer than donny so should be a bit of a better day out.

Ordered tickets, but to be honest dreading it now its moved to Silverstone - maybe the worst circuit in the country for viewing motorsport. Donnington on the other hand has the best viewing areas, second only to Brands.

Suppose its free though...

I dont know, Silverstone isnt that bad really if you know where to stand.

2 years ago had no problem parking, but took over 2hours to get out of the place. Last year, no problem parking and no problem getting out either. we got there early, but left during the last race so we avoided some of the traffic.

Went to the grand prix in silverstone last year, and again had no problem getting there, or no problems leaving. However we were early getting there.

excellent, glad i saw the thread as have been waiting for the tickets to go up. Was good last year and i had no parking problems on either day.

bah, landed on my feet last year as Donnington Park is 15 mins from my house (not including the 90 minutes spent in the queue of traffic all the way from the M1 to the field)

now its at silverstone Still, its a free day out so why not

Just got home from Uni today, opened F1 Racing Magazine and the World Series leaflet fell out. So I prompty said "anyone interested in this World Series thing at Silverstone, tickets are free". My dad quickly replied "already done, 4 tickets ordered for this address, and 4 at nans".

Yup i just got 4 ordered Havent seen my dad in ages (at uni and whenever i'm home he's away on business) and my best mate and his dad are coming too. Cheers for the links guys
