Just flicked the telly on and Joe Perry is 4-0 up against Selby. I know it's a long way to go but if Selby goes out, I'll enjoy this tournament a whole lot more.

edit: Perry 7-2 up at the end of the session. First one to 10 this evening.

Monday evening and Tuesday afternoon! Bit disappointed with the games we've got - Walden vs Brecel and J.Robertson vs Williams. My dad thinks we were supposed to see O'Sullivan but it's been slyly moved to Saturday afternoon to draw the viewers in.

I reckon he will be like Jimmy White - good player but never win the world championship. So I hope one day I'm wrong. Quite like Smurph to win again.

Trump has a really weird way of cueing the ball, he addresses it off centre to the right and as he goes to hit the ball he suddenly shifts the cue to the centre of the white. Its noticeable if you see a camera angle of him face on playing a shot, surprises me he manages to play at all with that weird method.

Gah, this isn't looking good for Luca Brecel either. Ricky Walden and his goofy Shaggy (Scooby Doo) look is another I don't like watching so this is double punishment.
