WORLD WEATHER THREAD

i have the original victorian fireplace in my bedroom and wind was rushing through it last night, couple that with the gate at the side of my house banging against the wall, and eventually being ripped off its hinges lead to a poor nights sleep
 
Weather sure is interesting this year.

Currently in northern Ohio and its 15c today! This time last year it was subzero temps with tonnes of snow. Very surreal and mild December.

Tell me about it! Southern Wisconsin here - we're heading for our first non-white Christmas in over a decade! Very strange "winter" so far.
 
very difficult situation now in some parts of switzerland, in the last 10 days locally more than 3 meters of fresh snow...

Yeah, stupid Grant missed Darwin completely! Railway is still out. Wont be fixed till the end of Jan.
Darwin only has one railway line and 2 passenger trains a week :)
Funny thing is that the river also washed away the brand new high level bridge for cars/trucks and the old low level one survived!
