World's worst road!

The roads are nothing like that in Tenerife or Gran Canaria, they are a 100 times safer with tarmac and barriers everywhere.
I've been on all the islands and done a lot of the trips.

LOL, that blog looks like some of the roads around Subic Bay, Phillipines.

Or some of the original roads in the northern interior regions of British Columbia in Canada.

Or any of the logging roads in Washington state.....

They are at lower altitudes, then you get a bit higher up and it starts to get a bit scary. I was there and can remember what they were like.

The Spanish have very strict road rules and regulations - hell, you can't even eat or drink on a coach. I've been to the highest altitudes on the Canary Isles and I'll guarantee there are no roads like the Bolivian ones - they're all tarmaced and railed (stoned). However, showing my 19 and 17 year old daughters the pictures of the Bolivian road and they said it was like those in Tenerife. They spent most of the trips with their eyes shut in fear.

I would rather walk then take a car :p

Arnt there steep cliffs like that around Corsica in Spain? I swear ive seen them on TV when the Corsica rally is on and the cars are driving around them

Even though they have those stone guard rails though

corsica isnt in spain :p

edit - all the roads i went on in corsica were tarmaced and generally had stone walls / blocks on them. althought many of the locals drove like they were practising for the rally!
