Worms - best version?

I have such fond memories of playing worms that i think i may just go into the attic to hunt out the disc, personally i'd like to see them make a new version in 2d coz the 3d verion killed the series hmm Worm:Wars i like that, thats what we need armies of the little buggers, holy hand grenades for all.

with the patch it supports 64 colour maps up to ridiculous sizes, records replays of the entire game, supports higher resolutions etc.

bear in mind that a lot of maps are for specific game types, mostly involving the ninja rope, which are fun if you know the rules...

another edit: whatever you do don't buy the trymedia version. It's incompatible with the patches

Zogger did you play WA? Remember RiddleR at all? I played that game for years :o lol I used BlameThePixel at one point too.

Worms Armageddon is by far the best version.

I think I remember the name :) Haven't really played worms in a few years - only when the patches come out, just keep the website running for the sake of it.
