Worms coming to Xbox Arcade

Any more news on when it is release?? Hopefully it is tomorrow!!

what happened to swos on arcade ? that i might consider

but i agree all this retro crap that you can get for free ;) on the pc if you wanted which i dont so i am not going to pay for it is pointless

the only reason sf2 worms swos are attracting attention is the versus online option

Yeah it's alien hominid tomorrow, at least it's a new title not one that's 25 years old.

So it's a 7/1 chance of worms being the next title as these are the next 7 games coming out left from that original list:

3D Ultra Minigolf Adventures (Wanako Games / Sierra Online)
Band of Bugs (NinjaBee)
Castlevania: Symphony of the Night (Konami)
Catan (Big Huge Games Inc. / Microsoft Game Studios)
Eets: Chowdown (Klei Entertainment Inc.)
LUXOR 2 (MumboJumbo LLC)
Worms (Team 17 Software Ltd)

I think all those games are new titles (bar castlevania but that's probably one of the most anticipated) so things should get better over the next couple of months.
 
Listening to the 1UP Yours podcast for this week they were saying that Worms will be a cut down version due to the size restrictions (15mb) on XBA games :(
 
The cynic in me says that's more due to them being able to skank another 400+ points out of you for more maps and weapons 2 months down the line, if they were so concerned about cutting the game down then what's stopping them releasing an extras pack for free alongside the actual game therefore not going over the limit?

The Arcade limits been raised to 250mb now but presumably all the old games still working under the old system.

thought MS said they they was changing the restrictions, yep just checked its now upto 250megs and the previous was 50meg

I bought toobin on the classics complilation. Ruined a lot of good memories, it was actually crap. If you really want it you can buy it for peanuts either for the pc or console.

I've got it on MAME mate........ but wanted to be able to sit in the living room in front of me big panel, battering the joypad.
 
The more powerful weapons may have to be unlocked though...

Hope so, worms isn't worms unless you have the Holy Hand Grenade :D
