Hiya,

So I went to use the downstairs loo for the first time in ages today and found a WORM swimming around in there.

A WORM!

No idea how it got there but we're all wondering if it's an earthworm or the product of someone's bottom.

Before everyone gets de-wormed, does anyone know what kind of worm this is or how it could have got there?

Cheers

Doesn't look like an earthworm. Though any stomach-y worm I've ever seen (only in my cat, and only once, ever) is white, not dark coloured like that.

I wouldn't have thought it could live very long without food though - has anyone else used that loo more recently than you?

For a start the bottom of that toilet is disgusting and you need to scrub that out immediatly.

Secondaly that worm must have superpowers or something, how on earth did it manage to get into that toilet on its own!?

Clearly it came from someone's intestinal tract!! Imagine how many more there are
KILL IT WITH SALT!!!!!

Edit: I was just about to eat

Apparently not - so they say - everyone's denying using that loo for fear of being cavity searched.

That loo is squeaky clean! Probably looks dirty on the video as it's one of those beige coloured ones - yes awful I know but we're in the process of redecorating :)

that worm looks like the 'Vermis mortis.' finding one in your toilet is a sign that the mother has given birth inside the intestine of your housemate and is looking for a new host, leaving its young inside your housemate's intestine. your housemate has about ten days before the worms become too large to feed off of the host's food and start eating the host himself. generally this results in sudden and very painful stomach pains, resulting in death within a few days of the first pains.

you better get everyone in the house down the hospital pretty darned quick because if they are caught early enough they can be removed, but the operation is quite complex and risky
