Was just having a browse at some of the stuff on Hard Disk Sentinel, half the stuff on there I aint got a ******* clue what I am reading but I was going through the SMART stuff.
Apparently a WD 2TB Green Drive which has a power on time of 1243 Days 11 Hours was showing 1,191,252 Load / Unload Cycles and "Write Error Rate" was 3.
When checking other drives in my machine such as another WD Drive which is a Black that has been on for 2394 Days 13 Hours with 0 Write Error Rate and only 239 Load / Unload Cycles.
WD Red 4TB 722 days 27,317 Load / Unload cycles.
The Green has pretty much been storage whilst the Black has just been absolutely HAMMERED over the years, everything ive download has gone to that drive first and then redistributed if it wasnt temporary and even has had games installed on in.
I am just concerned about the Green Drive because I have noticed at idle on this storage drive with no open programs or activity on the system itself which I saw from Performance Monitor on Disk view I can hear it and when I touch it it feels as though its being accessed / writen to.
Should I be worried and change it over now ?
I do have a duplicate 2TB which I use to back up the stuff on this one.
