I can't find any games I enjoy anymore. This wouldn't be a problem for noraml people, but I had to move away for work and have no friends, girlfriend or anything. So all I can od is game and watch TV.

Help! What can I do? What games are interesting and original these days?

I have been playing World of Tanks and War Thunder, I used to love Arma and Battlefield but BF 3 is terrible, it isn't even close the awesomeness of BF2.

Arma 2 takes to long to play and is quite tedious for me now.

Dunno what to do, all I have in my life is my PC and gaming.

I was starting to get this feeling as well. I've just bought Chivalry:Medieval Warfare though and it's good fun.

Maybe try branching out a little? Go for something a bit different?

Alternatively, take up a new hobby and meet people. Nothing wrong with gaming, but nothing wrong with a little hobby-diversity either!

And It seems to get worst the older you get....:(

Am over 40 now myself and all my friends I used to go around with are married now and just stay inside at home every night with there kids & wife..
And there not many 30+ year old single women around (apart from the ones with about 100kids from 100 different men),,so it not that easy to get girlfriends like it used to be when I was younger..:(

I do want to go to New Zealand! I am going to Gran Canaria over the summer with my parents and my sisters family, how depressing is that...

Buy a mountain bike and get out for a bit. Seeing as the weather is going to start to get a bit better soon it's a good time to start getting into it ready for the summer :) Also there might be some local cycling clubs about for you to meet some new people.

This is the problem and why you have gamers block. You need something else to occupy your time, making gaming special again. Don't try to force it, it won't work

I am not going to give you the glib answer of getting out and making friends but, ya know...

Leave the games mate and get out the house! As clliched as it sounds...join the gym...or if thats not your thing then a fitness class like Boxercise, Bodypump, CX etc. This is what Ive done and its made me loads of cool friends.

The UK and its obession with age. This country is OBSESSED with it. 30 is "old" 40 is "very old" wth is this. When you are 80 come back and tell me 40 is old. It really is all in the mind which is why Felix jumped from 120,000 ft and that Frenchman straps jets to himself and tools around the Alps.

Its your call dude, your life, get out there. I mean it when I say the fitness classes work. Forget chatting up girls if you go for that, just turn up, be polite...and let *them* come to you. And of course u will make mates there to and your circle of friends will grow. Dont keep escaping into games....its there for leisure time. Real world is more fun :D

Gaming 24/7 get's tedious, especially if you don't play with friends numerous times during the week or get away from your computer and go out and about with people.

I work and i also workout, plus i play games with my two best friends pretty much every night, so i never get bored.

I also take breaks and watch Red Dwarf or something too.
