For starters the numbers are in ****ing order!!! What's that **** all about?! Secondly the chocolates all the way up to #19 have just been squares of chocolate with a stamp on of something Christmas related and they've all been pretty unrecognisable!

I've been sorely disappointed by this, I might have to write an angry letter exclaiming how my Christmas has been ruined by their poor quality products. I can't get over how the numbers are in order, it's a disgrace!

:( :(

Aren't the little doorways arranged in the correct numerical order to better show the incremental increase in confection size of every progressive chocolate? No doubt with the largest, boldest treat heading up the entire festive tablet.

What's more the chocolates get bigger the closer it is to Christmas!

Normally the doors area in no particular order and number 25 is a big one. Normally they are all the same size minus the last

They never used to have a 25 either - 24 used to be the big "picture" (I say picture cos 30 years ago chocolate ones were rare and you opened the door to see a christmassy scene behind it).

I have this..

The Chocolates are thin from 1-5, slightly thicker from 6-10 and so on with 19 being a double... Its a good idea, yes they are not randomly spread over the calender and yes the shapes are a little rubbish but I wouldnt say im dissapointed.

The only thing that dissapoints me is that there are fewer doors as the days go by bringing in the truth closer to my eyes that in just a few days time Christmas will be here and Christmas as I see it is the worst time of year ever.

I sympathise, OP, but I don't know your pain. I have the best advent calendar ever.

Just buy yourself a large dairy milk bar and eat one square a day until Xmas, you will even have some left over.

Flawless.

I've never understood the attraction of chocolate calendars, they look messy and you don't really get that much (decent) chocolate. Non religious picture calendars (or Lego ones) are clearly better. :)

This year my mate bought me a 20p Barbie advent calendar with expiry date: November. The chocolates are unrecognisable lumps of brown and taste of cardboard. But it's the thought that counts :D

How old are you?

I offer some sympathy to Azza as its always disappointing when the calendar isn't exciting...

On the plus I got one of these too :D

24 days of AWESOME lego toys have been loads more fun than chocolate :) my mini x-winig and y-wing have been ambushing the cat most the days

MY advent calender doesn't even have the 25th on it!

Also when I got a robin shaped chocolate (my favourite) it looked more like a mutilated elephant!

Sorely disappointed with Advent chocolate this year...

Damn i'd completely forgot about them just being pictures when we were little lol :)
