Breed was pretty awful. A supposed Halo killer (although not sure why a fairly average shooter needed killing in the first place though...) but poor squad AI, a completely brown world, weak combat and dodgy vehicle handling.
I might get some hate for this 
P) but ill admit it. I absolutely HATED GTA IV. I thought it was a terrible game, let alone port. But it seems that Im the only one since it has a 98 score on meta critic which made me burst out laughing thinking it was a joke.....

Maybe we should list some of the defining qualities that people disliked about the game. What was it that made GTA 4 so unbearable for you?
For me, the graphics were good (albeit a little gray, but an ENB mod soon took care of that), the story was fun, the driving was.. well like driving on ice all the time, and the shooting was typical of a GTA game. But can you name another game that has accurately modeled New York so well?

Well, to me, the story.... well, there didnt really seem to be a story to be honest. I felt like Rockstar spent the time developing the graphics (which they did a damn good job of) but cut out the time on the story line. Feel the same way for all the BF story lines.
Colours in the game were horrible. Reminds me of COD every time, not much colour to the game and it always seemed like there was some sort of filter over everything, dulling the whole setting down.
Driving was absolutely terrible. Braking and steering was impossible and also player movement felt horrible to me. There was that delay in which Niko would then decide to turn and also, the "leaning" that happened when you wanted to turn a different direction ticked me off.
I have to admit though, the graphics for the age of the game is truely incredible. I remember when it first came out and it was talked about constantly. I just feel as though thats all that was good about it.
Im not hating on GTA either. I absolutely LOVED GTA SA. One of my all time favourite games. Also looking forward to GTA V for PC........
Oh god yes! I hated that buggy pile of crap. I really wanted to love it, but I think I could get to maybe the 4th mission in the campaign and then it died, repeatedly.
Awful.
Yeh I agree mostly. The delay between moving was/is definitely annoying! Especially when you try to get in a car but you are just slightly closer to the other car, so you start running round the other side!

I rather liked Fable 3, all apart from the 'you can't get all the weapons unless you friends play this too' thing.

Fable III is easily the most disappointing game I've ever played, the only reason I didn't suggest it in my post earlier in the thread was because it's not a really a bad game, it's just a bad Fable game, they got so much right with Fable II and then threw nearly all of it out with III.

It's all down to personal opinion, many people might not think your worst game is bad.
The point is that you can use perspective to realise what is your opinion, the thread says "worst game" not "most disappointing game" or "least liked game", it is quite clear that many of the games mentioned in this thread can in no way objectively be considered the "worst game" anyone has played unless their library of played games is incredibly small and genre specific.
I've been playing games regularly since the PS1 (just for perspective of numbers) and I have played VERY few games I would say are actually "bad" games, I've played many I didn't enjoy but I could probably count the bad games without running out of fingers.

You can't look at it objectively otherwise nearly everyone's worst game would wittle down to a select few bug ridden, no story, **** graphics, bad gameplay titles.
Objectivity is basically impossible, granted, however the thread title is "worst game" so people could at least try.
As I said above (edited post) very few truly bad games exist, excluding things like move tie ins because I don't think they count due to the way they are developed i.e on the cheap with no effort, however we can broaden that to account for personal opinion without listing games which quite clearly are not in any way bad but people just didn't like.
I mean people listing games like Bioshock, Far Cry 2 or even BF3, these are games which many people didn't like, which I accept completely, but worst game they've ever played? No, sorry that is just absurd.
Comparing it to films, I despise the Fast and Furious series, however I can't realistically call them all "bad" films because they obviously offer something which justifies their existence or people wouldn't be watching them and paying for sequels.

The thread says the worst game you have ever played... It is inevitable that good games will be listed, and rightly so. For example, I can safely say that Heavy Rain is the worst game I have ever played, but I do not for one second think it is the worst game ever. I do not play games that I do not think will be good.
