Worst job you have ever had?

I loved working at Asda because of my friends, most of the customers, and the job was easy. But some of the managers were horrible.

I had to have an emergency operation when I was 16 and thus was signed off for several weeks. Upon my return, I was called into a room and was told I'd taken too many days off and I was probably going to lose my job. What?!

"Luckily", I was allowed to stay. Meeting the third new store manager within two years was lovely. He introduced himself by coming to up me, screaming about stock replenishment. He then proceeded to ignore everything I said I'd been told to do. Shouted at me again. Then he walked off. I was there for another six months before uni and I didn't see him once, despite sometimes working full time hours.

Job one summer whilst at uni. Basically taking toffees out of a plastic wrapper and putting them in a metal box then taping the box up. Mind knumbing.

Got to be the YTS (Youth Training Scheme) i was on in the mid eighties. I was supposed to be learning the building trade but all they had me do was sweeping out houses and picking up rubbish all day long.
I don't mind grafting but i know when someone is extracting the urine so suffice to say i didn't last long.... two months as i remember, only got paid £26 a week too.

Mine would be working for an office interiors company selling ceiling tiles and plasterboard to the trade over the phone. I have never been so bored! I even enjoyed my years at a supermarket whilst at uni more than that.
