Worth getting 8GB DDR3 and an SSD?

Yes you will probably need a caddy for the ssd to go into the dvd drive bay. I will see later tonight if there are any floating about for that laptop or if a generic one will work. Someone here may know too and reply. Never really used them but have seen them advertised.

I would STRONGLY suggest an SSD :)

Probably the most noticeable speed increase that can be done these days!

As others have said, see if you can have two hard drives. My laptop has space for 2, so i use a 64Gb as my primary and the 500Gb that came with the laptop as my secondary.

Cheers guys, I will be getting the extra RAM first but as said I will certainly invest in an SSD when I can figure it all out.

I took a look at the website link but in all honesty I don't have a clue in what I should be lookling for.
