Worth getting a 6 x 15.4" widescreen monitor setup?

Not forgetting the cost of the hollowed out volcano with sliding roof (which looks like a lake) For this setup to go into its control room and help hatch another evil plan :D

Id rather go for a couple of decent monitors/performance over 6 with hump performance.

Way beyond my level of competance anyway, hope you get something your happy with.

regards,

Dave.

Well u'll be pushing it to get the monitors and the stand for 600, as if u take 3 of the Acer 19" widescreens thats lik £550 and i can't see the stand being 50 quid, I think it might be worth having a look on fleebay.

might be able to get more cash, this is just a idea so far, gotta sit down, do the maths an work out how much cash i have to waste before doing anything

I'd say go for it.. It certainly will have novelty factor. As already said, 6 might be a bit overkill and unpractical. If you scale it down to 4 monitors, im sure you can create a useable and great looking display setup. And all those people who are telling you not to do it... bah!, there just jelous ;)

ive decided on 4 monitors max, just gotta sell my laptop before i buy the screens. (bought a laptop 2 weeks ago, havent used it once!)

Looking at a similar thing myself for a flight simulator setup - something like a 2405 for the main display and a 19" either side. Got a 17" to mount above the main (for overhead panel) and three 10" displays for other panels and guages (will run off additional pc's)...
