A lot of people seem to be talking about this game? is it worth getting it?

I messed around with the demo for a while, but still not really sure either way, what are peoples oppions on it?

I just bought this (swayed by the Halo 3 beta) - was delivered this morning so will try when I get home tonight. Read the manual and it looks really good.

Now the dilemma is when i get home do I play Crackdown or Halo 3? Left Halo downloading when I came to work (900MB+).

I was suprised, i really enjoyed it. Levelling op is the best part really, that and the bosses and finding ways to climb the buildings. Its just a laugh. Easy to pick up and play for 10 mins.

Majoyr problem is once its finished there is nothing to do but reset it. You can get that keys to the city thing but it disables achievements.

Played H3 for about an hour last night - it looks fantastic in HD. :D

I found it quite frustrating as people were just bouncing around like bunnies (ala early CS and DOD versions).

I killed a few people, but there was one guy in the game I was in that got about 30 kills compared to everyones 2's and 3's - I call hax already! ;)

Suppose it's the same as any MP game - some people play ALL the time and know the routine - spawn, run here, pickup shield, pickup this gun, run here, kill, repeat. That's why I find most deathmatch MP really boring.

Played Crackdown for 30 mins or so and I loved it, the only problems I had was with targetting (LT) didn't seem to lock onto people even when I was next to them - do I have to have the crosshair pointed roughly at them for targetting to work? Also the other agents get in the way a lot and I run them over or shot them by accident so spent all my time fighting both sides!

I think it is a great game. i was suprised how achievment driven I became with it. With the new download like Rocket tag etc.. It becomes one of the best games for jumping on with a mate and having a laugh. Like
when your mate drives a big van around and you see how many gang members you can harpoon to the side...superb. Really underated.

Oh and of course 3 weeks of H3 beta can't be bad ( when it works!!)

I thought it was good, but in my opinion it could have been so much more if they'd spent an extra 12-18 months adding more depth to the city and story. It annoyed me that there weren't any buildings you could go into, the story could have been fleshed out a bit more. They also could have made the different bosses made more unique, as i found them all pretty much the same, and the further you got in they didn't seem to get any more difficult to kill.

I bought the game cheap for the Halo 3 beta, I had played the demo too and wasnt really sure. But when I started playing the game I found it to be really fun. The only problem is that it is too short =/

Playing on a harder difficulty just makes it more frustrating. Its very fun levelling up your skills and collecting orbs etc, but I found the bosses to be boring still worth buying second hand, I would not have played full price for it.

I wrote a blog on it :) http://nupo.org/item/crackdown

I have been playing Crackdown for nearly 3 months now. Still fun, still stuff to do. The single player game might not be all that long, but have you got all the orbs? Done the car races or the roof-top races? Done the time trials co-op? Plenty to do, and IMHO one of the best games on the 360.

It is just fun.

Personally I love the game, the new keys to the city mod is fantastic.

I would like them to allow me to spawn a skip and people. Skips are the best objects on the game, fill them with corpses and explosive barrels and its showtime!

Me and my mate spent an hour trying to get a skip onto the roof of the agency building.

Played the demo and hated it to be honest.

Nothing new in it, graphics are not that good compared to other games and the gameplay was pants....

quick question rather than start a new thread,

just finished the Los Muertos levels ( left hand side of map ) which one do i do next ?

I've just started Volk, bottom right hand side, and it's soo difficult !!! keep getting killed :(

Build your abilities up, oh and nick enemy weapons and take them back to supply points, they will then become available for you to equip.
Stick with Volk as Shai Gen is harder.

I love this game, it has actually got better the more i've played it.
I completed it once but am now doing it again on a higher skill level, i have also just completed all the Time Trials on Psychotic difficulty. ;)

Crap graphics ? Are you blind ?
