Worth it or not?

With many issues of dead / lazy pixels and Backlight bleed, is the move to TFT still worth it?

What about Viewsonic? If you have some dead pixels will they replace the TFT straight away (Swap) or will they take it away forst to check?. Just curious as my mate has a Viewsonic and it is great. I am afraid of getting one with iffy pixels!

My desk space is limited so i need to get a new Monitor as my old 14'' (don't laugh) is on its way out! Been looking at getting a 17'' TFT. Viewsonic and Samsung have 2 nice ones.

That is why i am looking at getting a TFT. Great space saving and a supposedly great picture!

The Viewsonic VX924 is a superb TFT.

My Mate has this TFT and everything about the VX924 is superb! The picture quality is very very good. Crisp and the colours / brightness and contrast look ace. No ghosting in games either. I would highly recommend one.
