Worth it?

I'm thinking about selling my graphics card (7800GTX), would it be worth selling it and paying the extra £60 odd to get a
Sapphire ATI Radeon X1950 Pro 512MB GDDR3 HDTV/Dual DVI (PCI-Express)

Would I see much of a performance increase or would I be better off waiting for a bit and getting one of the latest cards? Cheers.

Depends on if it's the 256MB or 512MB GTX in my opinion.

Keep it and wait till your prepared to pay a little more for a high end card. In real world tests I can't see this being a big difference in performance at all.

I've not checked the benchmarks or anything but I'd think it won't offer a big enough jump to be worthwhile really, if you are selling your card for ~£60 and putting another £60 towards it then it seems quite a pricey option. Does your graphics card still run everything you want it to normally?

Check out the following for the benchmarks in what you play. I think theres a 8-10fps between the two on BF2142.

To be honest, I would wait a little more and go for an 8-series card.

Thank you all for the speedy replies. I think i'm gonna wait until Crysis then get something a bit more capable. It does play everything i've got a the minute ok but it's just something new and I'm always tempted by new things! Cheers for the advice.
