Worth risking cheap PSU for 2/3 days?

My PSU 500w Corsair has stopped working. I have a cheap CIT 500w brand PSU that I could use until i get a new one in 2/3 days when I get money.

Is it worth the risk? I am getting withdrawals and need to game...

Do yourself a favour and throw the 250W CiT PSU in the bin. It's utter junk.

Yeah it says 500w but it probably isn't.

Yes it'll be fine. People absolutely LOVE to overstate the importance of PS US.

I wont risk it, chances are nothing would probably happen but why bother when I can just wait.

I will get an EVGA, seems cheap and a good brand.
