Currently mulling over the prospect of upgrading my XFX Geforce 7800GTX 256MB for a ATI X1900XT-X.
Due the native resolution of my TFT I play games at 1600x1200 for the most part.
This a worthy upgrade for a performance boost?

Hang on, haven't you got that the wrong way round? 7800GTX will plummet in price as the 7900GT will actually perform the same/faster for about the same cost/cheaper. X1900XT series shouldn't be affected really as it will remain ATi's top card.kdd said:I'd wait for the new nvidia cards tbh. smids said:egt - how will it hold resell value? There will be a new range out which replaces the now non-produced 7800 series. He needs to get shot now, whilst prices are still high on those cards, even if he doesn't buy a new one until 7900GTX launch and runs a PCI in the meantime.
