Worth the upgrade?

Hi guys

I have a bit of money left from my birthday and I was thinking of upgrading my current CPU/MB to a Phenom II 720 and a Gigabyte GA-MA770-UD3.

Would it be worth the upgrade or would i be better getting say a better GFX card?

What do you use your system for? and at what resolution are you running at?

I mainly use it for gaming, TF2, L4D, DOW2 & i've just got ARMA2 (not installed it yet) i play at 1440x900

GPU is fine. Get more RAM, 2GB not enough. CPU upgrade is probably better than gfx for you. (especially at that resolution, is that native?)

them 720be's look like great clockers, wish i had gone that route could have put the mony i would have saved to another gtx260 oh and more ram is always good just make sure your running win 64bit, if you only have 32bit windows you will only see about 3gb but then you could always grab the windows 7 rc for free, i'm running it on all 3 of my pc's and works great
