Worthwhile mods to VAG 1.8T engine?

as for intake pipes, has anyone known there to be a verifiable gain from these? im sort of tempted with one just so i can find out

You mean Turbo Inlet Pipe? Or something else?

If its the TIP the standard one is quite restrictive when you compare them, my mates Leon seemed to spool up harder and quicker if that makes any sense with the Forge item

yup, the tip is the one ive been looking at. another £40-£50 into the car i was never supposed to modify!!

He's changing from a knackered 200k+ 1996 306 DTurbo, so it'll feel like a spaceship compared to that, lol!

Nah, it's like being in a Bond car with a smokescreen behind you without the 100bhp screwmod, ha ha!

Just got in from picking it up, fantastic condition for a 10 year old car, and he said it did the 50 mile return trip perfectly.

Now to start looking at some mods...
