Worthwhile step up

Hi bit of a basic question for some of you ,I have at present a asus gd30 computer 1070 with the i5 7400
cpu
Im looking at a friends comp with the ryzen 5 1600
with an 1080 8 gig ,16 gb ram and 2x 500 ssd

would that be worthwhile for around the £750 mark

Keep yours, if you swap from 1080p gaming to 1440p. Will work the CPU harder and give the CPU some breathing space .

Thanks ,i actually have a rog 27 1440p screen

I take it thats work the gpu harder

See i could sell mine for around the same price ,so not really worth it
