worthy upgrade?

I have seen a sapphire x1900xt 512mb for a very good price and was wondering whether it is a worthwhile upgrade?

I play:

Bioshock
COD4
TF2
FEAR combat
unreal 3

From a 7900GTO to a x1900xt? if the GTO is clocked back to or close to 7900GTX speeds it would be slightly faster in most cases...

nah not really, just hold on untill you can afford an 8800 or whatever is coming next.

cheers, I am hoping for a good 512mb card (3850/8800/ 9600?) to be available for 100 max before considering upgrading

OCUK 3850pro with 512Mb is only a tenner over your £100 and unlike the 2900 your not gonna cry with a 3800 series... personally I'd rather stick with nVidia tho...

Your not gonna get great gaming on a 512MB card at £100, even the 8800GT is more.

Advise you save a bit longer and get a card after new ones launch.
