I have the earlier model of this 4v driver
https://www.amazon.co.uk/WORX-WX255-1-Slide-Driver/dp/B00Y31LSX0
Today I have used it more than I have since I bought it when Homebase shut down around here.

It has the magazine to put your bits in and one of them is a very short pilot hole drill - no more than 5-8mm long and about 1-2mm diam - it's been the most usefull bit in the mag holder so thought I will search for another -Nowt - I have put in every combination of drill bit -hex -pilot hole and others and no results pop up.
So has anyone got super search powers and can find one.
Just to recap -it is a Hex bit but instead of screwdrive etc on the end it has a small drill bit on there instead.

Thanks cussy I will now take great care of it - I am drilling into plastic window frame and that little screwdrive is just the right size and weight.

Ok what about stub / stubby hex shank drill bits

Or if you can wait a month or two you can buy the same product from china for a couple of quid

Actually I've found a video showing that bit and I'm strongly doubting you'll find a replacement

I was tempted by Aliexpress but it's more than I paid for driver-£6 - Homebase sell off.
I have three 18v battery drills and boxes of drill bit sets.
Thanks for the effort :)

I never thought about using Hex shank drill bits -One thing with a drill is the drill bit is solid in chuck as is the Hex bit in the Worx - Not sure exactly what you would use but my obsevations with Hex bits is they are a bit lose in a bit holder so bit of wobble at the start of drilling.
I have also noticed vast difference between cheap and expensive bit holders so perhaps it might work.

This 5v Worx driver isn't powerful enough to drill into steel but it is fine in wood or plastic.

Worth a punt I suppose. :)
