Hi
currently with Orange broadband, and we have the router that they gave us downstairs at the master socket. Our 2 desktops and 1 laptop all connect wirelessly.
We moved the router upstairs to another socket, plugged it in etc and connect the 2 desktops with an ethernet cable. Both the PC's connected to the router (it said connected 100mbps in the bottom right hand corner of the screen
) but when we opened up the internet we just got an error. Went to 192.168.1.1 and that also said we weren't connected.
Moved the router back downstairs and it all worked fine.
Any ideas what we could do to allow us to have the router upstairs? Or would getting a new router solve our problem?
Many thanks
