Would a UK TV work with over the air programs in another country?

Mux is short for multiplex, which simply means "we put several channels down one RF channel frequency". It hads't much relevance to the type of broadcast standard being used. That's the DVB-T bit and HEVC 264.

My gut feel is that the GX800 would work, but if you find some issue when you get there then there's always the option of a receiver/recorder box purchased locally.

Often when you set up the TV, it has an option for the Country it is being used in (separate to language settings), see if Bulgaria is in that list. I have done similar moving a Samsung from Vietnam to Greece, changed the country of use (not sure it even mattered) and no problems in use.
