Would I be able to build this?

Yeah, but then at the end of the year, I'll end up having to go Linux anyway - I want something to use from the start and have it long term. I'd use my old laptop hard drive or clone it or sumfin but that has 32 bit vista and i want 64 bit

So
1. Can I use these things with Linux? Will they work etc
2. On the Motherboard that Fire Fly suggested (And is the one I was gonna have) it says "Due to Windows 32-bit operating system limitation, when more than 4 GB of physical memory is installed, the actual memory size displayed will be less than 4 GB."
Does this mean that I can only run a 32-bit OS? Because I want to run a 64-bit.

I found another problem - I know, I know. But It's my first time and I dont want anything going wrong.
The Gigabyte H61MA-D2V Intel H61 motherboard says in the form factor that its form factor is 9.6"x6.6".
The Gigabyte H61MA-D3V Intel H61 motherboard just says Micro ATX for the form factor.
But the case says "Motherboard Support: ATX (12” x 9.6”), Micro ATX (9.6” x 9.6”)"

Neither of them have either of those measurements. The D3V might fit but it may well be like the D2V, which says its a Micro ATX. I'm not sure how much sense I'm making but I don't know if the mobo will fit. Maybe it'll be secure with only 2 screws? that may or may not be in the right place...

All motherboards built in the last 6 years odd will be 64bit compatible.

Unless you are looking at old motherboards for old Intel P4 cpus.

Decided to change the Mobo. I really really wanted the ASRock B75 Pro3-M Intel B75 but it's out of stock. So I'll get the ASRock B75M Intel B75, which is essentially the same thing except the Pro3-M has a few more extra things that I'm not that bothered about losing. I'm quite annoyed about losing two extra RAM slots but I'll just have to struggle on lol. And if I really need more than 16gb or RAM then I'll just get a new mobo as well. :)

Also It says its Micro-ATX so probably will fit my case

Something not suggested is that you can use windows 7 trial. You can use it as normal but you have a limited time before you have to delete it or reinstall it. I think there's even a way you can double the trial period giving you something like 60 days use. A bit of a ball ache but it's doable.
