So, if you own a house with no mortgage, you can still get a mortgage as a first time buyer?

The answer is YES... if you do not own a property and you are not on the mortgage papers of the one of your Ex...

I have owned properties, sold up, went overseas, came back bought a new home.... first time buyer....
