Hi all

I have my OS (Win 7) installed on an SSD, but have no room for games/programs etc on it.

I have a 500GB SATA 3 6gbps doing nothing and i was wondering if there would be a noticeable performance difference if i was to install games etc on that, rather than buying another SSD?

Any thoughts?

Thanks

Things like game loading times will be a bit longer, but in game performance won't be affected.

What I did was get a 120GB SSD drive for Steam (already had a 64GB for Windows), any games that won't fit, I'll put on my hard drive or delete games to free up space.

Yeah, you can use steam mover to move individual games from your library to your SSD. That way you can have them all downloaded and ready to play, and just move your favourite onto the SSD when you feel like it in 5 mins.
