Would these run both Fans on variable speed?

I 'm a little unsure as the second adapter seems to be missing the 12v Lead.

These are the fan splitters I am thinking of getting.

It should do yes, although it'll run both at the same speed. The lead it's missing from the second adaper is actually the speed signal wire, as the header can only accept speed information from one fan.
