Would this be a good basic gaming build?

So I was on amazon recently and have been investigating building my first pc, and wondered if this would make a good general computer:

CiT Mars Midi Tower Part-Mesh Gaming Case with 2x White LED Fans and LED Display

Intel Core i3 3220 Dual Core CPU ( 3.30GHz, Socket 1155, 3MB Cache, Ivy Bridge, 55W, Intel HD Graphics 2500, Advanced Vector Extensions)

Gigabyte SKT-1155 Z77-DS3H Motherboard

Corsair CMZ4GX3M1A1600C9 4GB 1600MHz CL9 DDR3 Vengeance Memory Module

Asus Nvidia GeForce GTX 650 DirectCU (1GB GDDR5, PCI Express 3.0, HDMI, 2 x DVI-D, VGA, DirectX 11.0, OpenGL 4.2, DIGI+ VRM with Super Alloy Power, GPU Tweak)

CIT 450w Gold 12CM Silent Atx Power Supply

Samsung 840 Series 250GB 2.5 inch SATA Solid State Drive

Feedback would be great or improvements on parts for similar price range, thanks :)

i would change the PSU for something better.

I can vouch for the 7850's though, great cards.

i think this may be better suited to the general section and not the project log section.

What is your budget? Do you have anything you can reuse? do you have Monitor, Keyboard, Mouse & OS?

also i would remove the company name from your post as they are a competitor.

I really didn't want to spend over £450, £500 max, and no but I set extra money aside for keyboard/monitor ect. which is why I didn't want the build to be over £400-£450

For a general computer it's fine. As far as I am aware, the CIT PSUs have got a rather bad reputation so it might be worth swapping it out for a different one, such as a OCZ, Corsair or XFX.

change the psu and get a lower spec gpu.

if its just a general build i would suggest going amd and using the onboard gfx instead.

if you are gaming then choose intel and a decent gpu.

a mod should move this thread over to general for you.

i recently built an I3 rig with a 7850 2gb and i can play BF3 on high settings, crysis on medium settings, simcity on veryhigh settings.

without hdds/os/monitor/kb/mouse mine came to £389.
