hi lads i have 2 7970 lightnings and game on a 50in led @1080.i would like to buy Asus PB278Q 27" Professional and 2 gtx 780s what do you guys think.thanks

That's a 1440p monitor right? The two 7970s would cope absolutely fine at that resolution with everything maxed out, but yes the 780's would be an upgrade.

+1 for what you have, x2 7970's will cope very well with a 1440p monitor. x2 gtx 780's will give a lot more performance, but you do have to question the cost.

Well my single 680 is doing a great job of maxing out most games on my new 1440p Viewsonic. A 7970 is around the same performance, so two of them will absolutely fly. Keep what you have.

Two 7950's working really well on 1440p here. Everything maxed in every title i own. (excluding AA) x2 or x4 AA at 1440p is more than enough.
