I am looking into a new system build and want the best performance for video editing and therefore want some top end memory. Was wondering i this ram

would work to uts full potential in this motherboard

yep yep mate, will have to set the ram speed manually thou, well i imagine anyway. most motherboards boot ram that is faster than 667 @ 667 regardless.. but bar that should all be good

What do you mean by set it manually, as in set the ram timings in the bios and the voltages ?

voltages and timings should be okay, its the frequency

so just head of into the bios, look for the RAM frequency page, and set it to whatever value is appropriate (so for stock FSB/CPU speed 1066mhz) and it should be all good mate
