Can I ask why you changed the ram and mobo specifically, ive heard great things about the Zotac board.....

any reason ure looking to upgrade now then i7 in a year ?

whats the system used for ?

Its a complete new build now as my last system suffered fall damage  thanks to a hyper active nephew while I was cleaning the fans and dust filters etc... so am getting an insurance cheque which im going to be adding a little bit to. I need a new system now as am runnning an old P4 based system that hasnt been used in about 2 years, which keeps crashing, is painfully slow etc etc

The new system is going to be used pretty much for gaming and internet usage and the reason im not just going I7 is I dont have the available funds
right now

yeh the zotac 9300 would look like you've stuck a credit card into a case. Antec skeleton - if you're worried about nephews knocking computers over again - that won't be a good case + personally its horrid.

If you're getting the E8400 you might want a 3rd party CPU heatsink and you can clock its socks off.

Nephew is now banned from the computer room and if i had my way from the house as to be honest he is a little s***!

What attracted me to the Antec Skeleton was its unusual design more than anything but no doubt id have regretted working with it, especially considered ive got hands the size of shovels.

Will look into getting the Sunbeam and then willl as someone once put it, overclock the knackers off it! lol
