Would this Mic be appropiate for PC use?

Looks great but notice how it says "condenser" microphone?

All condenser microphones need 48V of 'phantom power' to operate. I couldn't see how this mic connects to anything but it looks as though it is corded already which leads me to believe that it is USB perhaps?

If it has a typical XLR connector on the end then you will need a preamp/audio interface/mixer with phantom power for it to work!

If it is USB powered - it might get its 48v from the bus but again, lack of information on their site ain't exactly helpful.

EDIT: I am the MOST confused I have ever been. It has a mini-jack connector on the end?? WTF? How does it get its power if its a condensor mic? <cries>

It's an Electret Condenser. It requires plug-in-power, not phantom power.

It's basically a fancy version of one of these:

So it ought to be fine for PC use :)

Wow I've never heard of a Electret Condenser before. I'm used to studio grade Condenser microphones. I've seen USB powered Condensers but never this! You learn something new everyday eh?!
