Please remember that any mention of competitors, hinting at competitors or offering to provide details of competitors will result in an account suspension. The full rules can be found under the 'Terms and Rules' link in the bottom right corner of your screen. Just don't mention competitors in any way, shape or form and you'll be OK.

Would this old PC be sellable?

There should be quite a bit of interest, I would recommend posting the links to your other parts on each of the sales pages pointing out they are all compatible with each other and make up a full pc.

I checked out the members market, while you have been here for 5 years you need 250 posts to use it.

he only needs 100 posts after hes been a member for a year :)

I thought that rule only applied to free postage? At least I didn't see anything when I searched the faq for members market. Probably just missed it though. Good news for him if its true.

Members Market?
The members market is provided as a free service to active and contributing forum members. OcUK are not liable for any deals that are done in the Members Market, you are free to buy and sell at your own risk. Please read the rules of the Members Market before you proceed to make your first sale.

Access to the Members Market forum requires two things. Firstly, you will need to have over 250 posts and have been signed up for at least 90 days. Please note that this does not mean you spam the forums simply to increase your posts, as this action will result in posts being deducted, and if you continue this behaviour, your account will eventually be banned/suspended. Once you reach 250 posts, you will need to activate your trust. This is either found in your UserCP, or you can press the trust button that appears at the bottom of all your posts.

Once you satisfy both of these criteria, Members Market access will be granted within 24hrs. Please do not post on the forums asking why you cannot access the members market, if you have any queries, email one of the forum Dons/Admins. The contact addresses are available in the FAQ.

Thanks for clarifying. I'm more of a listener, hence haven't rambled on here in the past 5 years. A wise man keeps a still tongue in his mouth... :)

It will take another 5 years to rack up 250!! I guess fleebay for me!

Haha, on most forums I join I will rack up 1000 posts easily in the first few weeks. I used to run a sort of tech support on the WAR forums (warhammer online) during beta and first month of release and when I was still very much up to date with the latest pc info. I believe I hit over 2000 posts in the first month.

Now days i've not followed the latest info for years so I am always dubious that what I say may be wrong now. On the plus side I beleive I have more of a life now ;)

At least at 100 posts you can get free delivery from ocuk. You have to go on your account on the shop and link it to your forum account. Though its a bit weird for mine as my ocuk account is under my mums name and its linked to 8igdave haha.

I will keep an eye out on eBay for the motherboard, I'm a regular on there buying some parts, so you never know, one day I might just buy something one of you are selling!
