Hi,

Well the missus friend is getting married in Prague and although I get on with her and her husband to be I just cant stand them or their crowd...

They are very rude, ignorant, materialistic and general party poopers...

My missus agrees with my opinions on them and knows I always try to get along and have fun with them because I am that type of person...

So do I go, or not?

Thus far I have told my missus's i cant get time off work lol..so what to do?

please help

Being unable to get time off work is always a good, workable excuse

EDIT - some social obligations are painful yet unavoidable and you have to put up with them no matter how much you might not want to. I wouldn't put this in such a category, so excuses ahoy!

If your wife is really desperate to go, I'd say do so. It will make her think very good of you for sure. :)

However, if she is hesitant to go, you could blag the bride and groom and say the family pet died or something and you're distrought :p

One I use on a weekly basis to get out of various dull, laborious weekend visits involving friends and relatives - I seem to 'work' most weekends!

well thats it...

initally i agreed, and now id rather spend that bank hol weekend chilling...

i do like the idea of earning extra browny points...

she feels she has to go as its her best mate, well one of them...

but at the same time my partner sees just how annoying and irrating that whole crowd is...

so dont really know how to play this one...

i know mrs *** be chuffed if i went, its for 3 days...of which only 1 day i would have to spend with the annoying ppl

I would go with your misses. It's meant to be a fab city. Just spend a few extra days there. The wedding will only take up one day.
