This is quite an amusing thread, but fair play to him, I think posting on the internet about asking a girl out is probably more than many of the posters on here have done :p

I went to Asda this morning and guess what??
Whilst waiting in the que a couple of check out girls were chatting about some bloke who had asked on Ocuk forums about taking one of them out.:eek:
I started lauging and they looked at me then asked if it was me.
I said yeah.
Well...
I got a date with them both next Saturday night.
Result!! :D

Have you see how many "girl <3 omg" threads have been created in GD over the past year alone?!

Dude just ask her already :)

What have you got to lose?....thats right: nothing. Worst she can say is "no" right!?

She will be flattered. Get some nice happy flowers, a box of chocos and hand them to her asking if she'd like to meet you for a coffee or something. Dress sharp, look good, speak polite.

Many years ago when I was in Winchester I went to this cafe and the girl who served me knocked me off my feet. After I was done eating I left but couldnt get her out of my head. So I did what I suggested to you: I got a nice bunch of flowers (no roses remember), a box of chocos, gathered up my courage and walked right in there.

"Hi...this is for you, I think you are really nice and hey to be honest you bowled me over. Could I take you out for a meal?"

She went bright red but smiled the sweetest smile.

"No...no...no-ones ever done this to me before....Im so fl...flattered I dont know what to say...thank you"

So yea.....what you waitin for ....

That screams of:

"I have been watching you from afar for weeks and weeks now, dreaming of what your sweat might taste like if I were to lick your face"

Did you get a Date after all that ? :)

She came out for a coffee but that was it. She said because I lived abroad she didnt want to get into a relationship but said my gesture had blown her away. She said she was not into the long-distance thing. I was bummed but I totally understood where she was coming from.

What Im tryin to say is sometimes you just gotta do these things. If you dont someone else will.

:)
