i think nick just loves the attention he is getting from this thread, he is probably playing dungeons and dragons right now as the posts fly in, increasing his need for virtual popularity.

firstly, instead of posting on here, he could have asked her by now. secondly, he still hasnt asked her?

nickg, you failed big style!

Cut the guy some slack. It's not easy just walking up to a girl and asking her out. The moment has got to be right and its very easy to walk away giving yourself a load of different excuses as to why you didn't do it. Unless you are away on holiday then all that above goes out the window..

what would you do when ppl start stalking someone you considered asking out - to the extent where they are going into the store with cameras and scouring facebook?

i dont even know this girl, last thing i want is for a hoarde of ocuk'ers descending on the store kicking up a stink!

Which is why you never bothered going back to ask her out, which is also why you are single

You actually care what a bunch of internet people think or may do.. worst case, that 1 guy goes into an asda store which may or may not be the one you went to and takes a pic of 1 girl.

Really, a geek with a mobile phone and now your spooked? They are having a laugh at your expense and your falling for the trap because you are incredibly self conscious.

Here is a bit of advice that might be rather shocking, you don't actually have to defend yourself to others when they are taking the ****! You are just feeding them by explaining yourself.

Does mummy tuck you into bed at night? Grow some balls man.

Oh the irony, explaining = feeding the uproar but then you ask him a question which is explaining himself :P

My mate met a girl like this in tesco! He was talking to her for ages and didnt have the bottle to ask for her number. One evening I bet him that he wouldnt do it and offered to pay for his night out the next night if he did! He went and asked her out and he got her number. She had an affair with another bloke from work, however, 6 months into the relationship - gutted. He only shops at morrisons now!

tbh, even though it ended all messed up, he still had 6 months of fun out of it.

fair enough, but why put the pressure on yourself

it would have been easier if he just didnt bother posting this here, and when he was ready, to step up and ask her.

because he posted here, he now looks like a fruit for not delivering what he set out to do.

we all know the outcome posting this kind of thing on here is just going to make you look like a complete burke, and the longer he puts it off, the harder it will get.

she must be bloody special if you can wait this long for her :p
