No, once rust has set in properly it's an absolute pig to sort it and keep on top of it. I'd rather have a sound body and a wrecked engine.

I can never get on with the 924/944 series of cars. A Mk1 or Mk2 MR2 are a better car in pretty much every way and they have the engine in the middle!

What ever you choose though wrecked engine and mechanically broken is far better than a rusty shell.
