Logic would suggest no but I have never built an itx yet

I am looking at a mini itx build on a i3-2105. I already have the chip in a matx on a h61 chipset. I was going to test if it is sufficient for what I want the itx build tondo on that first before getting a mini itx h61 board and case

More details of end use and build spec here http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=18613333

But essentially if it works in the current matx then it should work in the itx?

No - but it depends on the board!

The only difference between these boards is the number of internal/external USB ports, SATA ports and PCIe slots. Everything else will remain the same. Depending on the board, you'll still get overclocking and power features.
