That's nice you probably just made the corporation some more money, and they sure would love to make some money off you if they get the chance, and the owner was probably trying to avoid driving it because of the expired mot, hence the long duration of parking.

Irrespective, it's got no MOT therefore it shouldn't be on the public highway at all, 3 months past the expiry is taking the mick

Secondly it's not like an MOT is a bank breaking expense. If it needs repairs he can't afford maybe he shouldn't be driving something as expensive to run and maintain as a 330d

edit: Pathetic possibly but it wasn't me that left the note. It's not even as if he's a neighbour he lives on the next street

Different issue and I didn't comment on him reporting the tax.
 
It's completely feasible that they forgot about the MOT. I did with my DC5 a few years ago, I'd been driving for around 2 weeks or so before I realised. A few friends have done the same.
