Would you live in student accommodation?

Unless you can afford a properly brick built house so basically nothing built in the last decade out of paper mache and matchsticks, then people are going to hear you hanging out the back of your new Magnolia approved wife and if you're any good then even then your neighbours should be able to hear you!

Are you a student? If not then the person you move in with will get hit with council tax as well but at a reduced rate. At least that's what I've always been told so someone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

******** is that the average looking girl.

I'm pretty sure it is an average looking girl, just not like you think. I remember a thread on here a while back that linked to an article where hundreds of women were superimposed on top of each other and the results looked a bit like that.

Never did, I lived in a HMO and have done every time I've been at university. Cheapest way to live and the best way, decent house and usually a better location than the halls.

Get in a HMO, bills included, stuff them the rent in blocks 10 months of the year, and usually to stay the 2 extra months you just pay 1 months rent extra.

Halls are overpriced ****e, and you'll end up living with a bunch of dickheads who shop at top man and are only there to get ****ed.

I like a good time but it's like even when I was an 18 year old there were so many *******s who couldn't handle their drink let alone act like civilised human beings after a few pints. more fussed about impressing their mates than having a good time.

Nah not again, lived in two different student accommodations during uni, and thats enough. Too hard to keep regular work hours in them. The womenz won't appreciate the lack of space either.

If your after cheaper, consider a house share with other professional studs.

I've thought about it before and decided it was a bad idea.

Basically, I work shifts starting between 0700 and 1100 in the morning but if we had a load of drunken students come home at 3am waking me up when I need to be up at half 5 then its my own daft fault for living there, not theirs for being drunken students.

Also don't forget that if you live in student halls you will be woken up every few weeks and forced to stand outside in the cold for half an hour because some retard will have set the fire alarm off. (guess what happened to me at 2am last night )

That was one of the many good reasons for picking halls literally next door to a 24hour Asda, sod standing in the cold just pop in a do some shopping or hang around in the warm in varying states of undress.

I wish I could do that this year. The first time I was in halls there were two buildings next to each other, so if our alarm went off I could tag along with some friends and head over to the other building where there were some people they knew. Sadly I cant really do that now because I'm in different halls this year.

You sound wifeable regardless of your domestic arrangements. Just remember to write your username on your pot noodles and let the gash form an orderly queue.

This. My mate lives with two other guys in a nice apartment and they all smash regularly.

OP: I'd keep spending the £750 if you can afford it but share with 2 or 3 others. You will get a sweet place for 3 x £750 pm. Only problem is you will have to wear a wetsuit because you will be swimming in all the clunge you will get.
