Would you pay $750k for this punk? (NFT Art)

An items value is derived from how much someone is willing to pay for it, that's it. Why do people struggle with that concept? Most NFTs are bought for X amount because people are betting they'll be worth X+Y in several months or years. Simply spending X amount on an NFT also gives it some value as a status symbol.

money laundering and fools who think the above.
no one is going to want any crappy NFT you could make your own copy, stick it in a blockchain an no one would ever know it's not the original one...

it's like trying to collect memes thinking they will be worth something one day, in reality they fade into obscurity and no one cares..

All your base....
Someone set us up the bomb...

no one even knows them anymore and no one will care about these dumb NFTs in a few years

Has literally anyone made money from NFTs? The answer is of course, yes. Why are angry about it? Why do you even care of people are "foolish" with their own money? You just come across as envious. I have no involvement in any of that world but clearly some people do make money out of this stuff so maybe just deal with it.

People feel they missed the bitcoin train and are now buying into NFTs, but don't actually know what they are buying, it's pump and dump scam. Yes people have made money from it, in the same way a small amount of people have always made money from scams. It is open to criticism and that's what people are doing.

what people should collect is stocks

All fun and games until it's one of your kids who get scammed out of their college fund.

I don't have any NFTs, I'm just not sat getting angry about it. Worry about your own money, if you dont find value in NFTs then don't buy any.

Oh no, think of the children! Why would kids frivolously have access to spend their college fund on things online? LOL is that a serious post?

how am I angry about it?

Well, you decided everyone who buys an NFT is a fool or a money launderer, clearly that isn't the case. Some people I'm sure have made thousands out of buying and reselling them. They're just selling digital art, like people buying unique items in an online game, it's nothing exactly crazy.

can you give some examples? have you ever watched any videos about NFTs?

You need examples of people who have made money from selling NFTs? What? Do you want examples of people who've made money selling bitcoin as well?

Choosing to ignore the question then, so I'll assume it's the former - deliberately missing the point.

Well done, really supports your rhetoric :D

there were a few crypto millionaires on the forum the early adopters.

how many NFT millionaires do we have?

NFT are a lot like crypto accept only 1 coin exists and it has 0 purpose

Yes people have created NFTs that have sold for millions, you can easily Google that. There doesn't need to be a purpose to NFTs, that's not a requirement for something to be traded or bought. Things can just be bought and sold because people feel they have value, gold has immense value beyond it's properties as a metal used in electronics, why? Just because someone decided that gold is the standard in which we trade in. People then create items out of gold to wear on their body as a status symbol, in the same way people own NFTs as status symbols. This doesn't seem that complex of an idea.

gold has value because it's rare and easy to transport, someone didn't just decide gold on a whim

NFT are like buying scratchcards hopium

His point is that crypto exploded all over the scene and people were scrambling over each other to get their hands on it, whereas the reception of NFTs has been confined to a fairly small audience, as many people don't trust it or think it's a load of toss.

I suspect you knew this already, so we'll just add this to your tally of deliberately misunderstanding things for teh l0lz.

Tally count, this thread only: 2.
