Would you?

no thx :p

If I was going to buy an old Celica it would be a 1970-77 model (non liftback version), think its the TA27 shape. Like this:

Finally a man who knows celica's:)

Unfortunately they have now been hit with scene tax and are fetching some serious money.Cracking looking car in coupe form.

The one in the OP is pretty dull looking car, they are not much better to drive, the celica-supra model from the same vintage is the better car to buy if you want early 80's toyota:)

I would... but you wouldn't get it so I'll save the explanation, much in the vein of the old Penski threads.

I've just noticed that! Last time I looked (quite a few years ago) I managed to find one for sale on Ebay for £500, now the only one I have seen was an un-sold one for over £3000!
